Grand Opening
On a rainy autumn morning in 2001, we opened a twelve-square-metre counter on Pinghai Road — one tray of hand-polished silver, a notebook, and a promise to make everything by hand.

First Customer
Her name was Auntie Xu, a tea merchant from Longjing. She bought a pair of silver earrings and came back every month for nineteen years.

The Little Workshop
We rented the room behind the counter and set up our first workbench — two silversmiths, one torch, and a shared bench.

A Second Generation
The daughter of our first customer joined the workshop as an apprentice. The silver we sold was now finished in-house, start to finish.
